Happy Place snowboard is designed to make snowboarding more accessible to masses. Now manufactured in Europe using only BIAX fibreglass to make it torsion-ally softer production has started at a 135cm ride going all the way up to a 163W.
As kids grow up they need bigger boards and Slash saw it as a good excuse to open up their cam-rockered park board to the younger punks and smaller women. This hybrid shape has all the pop you can ask for with camber between the feet and the carbon stringers are positioned to give you that amazing pop of camber while retaining the forgiveness of rockered tips. The progressive sidecut allows for swift slashes and gives this board a real flow of movement.
Features
CAMROCK PROFILE, IDENTITY SHAPE: CamRock features a loaded camber section between the feet with a small flat section underfoot and rockered tips. The camber section maintains stability between the feet, while the flat areas underfoot let you load up ollies and the rockered tips offer forgiveness. This creates a very playful, easy turning board. The Original Identity shape saves material and weight and also stands up without tipping over like other rounded boards.
CARBONBON REINFORCEMENT, PROGRESSIVE SIDECUT: Two carbon fiber stringers stretching outward from the inserts to the contact points in both the tip and the tail. Like prongs sticking outward these additives feel out rough terrain, promote pop, generate stronger edge hold and create a more playful ride. The progressive sidecut design blends many radii and smooth contact points for buttery smooth turn initiation, edge-to-edge transition and edge hold.
BI-AX FIBERGLASS, POP WOODCORE: Biax fiberglass is a two-way weave of fiberglass with strands running every 90-degrees. It’s more forgiving, easier to flex and highly versatile for all terrain types. Pop Woodcore is arranged with premium strips of poplar for a lightweight and smooth flex with added beech hardwood stringers tip to tail through the inserts for power transfer and durability.
SINTERED BASE 7500, STEEL EDGES, BELT FINISH, FACTORY WAXING: The Sintered quality base is fast, durable and requires less waxing. Edges are built with 35% more steel content than the average. They are simply stronger and more durable than the alternative. The belt finish gets your base optimized before it’s fully waxed. All Slash boards are factory waxed with OneBallJay wax and ready to shred straight out of the wrapper.
IMPACT DAMPENING, TIP PROTECTORS: A vibration dampening rubber used between the steel edge and the sidewal, absorbs impacts only to a very small degree, its main purpose is to act as an adhesion layer between the edge and sidewall to prevent the possibility of delamination. Thin, light and surprisingly strong aluminum protectors that cap the base and edge at the tip and tail to protect the board from impacts.

How to identify the size of the board that best suits you
The only way to know for sure is through experience. You just have to try different shapes and lengths until you figure out what is right for you. But everyone has to start somewhere, and there are a few easy guidelines you can follow to get off on the right foot. The first depends on the type of riding you want to do. If you plan on doing mostly freestyle riding, that is, hitting booters, jibs, and pipes, you will want to ride a shorter board. For more of a freeride, that is, first tracks through twelve inches of pow, a slightly longer board is typically suitable.
The rule of thumb is that, if you hold the board on end in front of you, it should come up to somewhere between your chin and the bridge of your nose. If you can find a board about that long, you should be ok to start. More advanced riders can decide if they want to go above or below that range, but at the end of the day, it is a really just a matter of preference. Contact any of our Authorized Dealers for advice, they will help you figure out which board is right for you.
Customers with Bigger Foot
It all depends. With most boots these days being more low profile, and bindings offering toe and heel ramps, you really do not need a wide board unless you are over a size 11.5 boot (U.S.). Typically, wide boards start at a 26.0 cm waist width and go wider as the length goes longer. Again, get fitted properly at your local Authorized Slash Dealer to get more of a custom set up and decide if a wide or standard width board is best for you.

Model for National and International competitions! The Champion Light is a lightweight model for lightweight competitive athletes (35-55 kg) who are mastering their first triple jumps, or even those working on their first double jumps (55-70 kg). This model is soft padded, PU-coated leather upper, functional flex notch, lightweight, breathable microfiber lining and reinforcement, orthopedic shaped insole with steel joint, leather sole with wooden heel!
Very short break in period. This model has a very short breaking in time (5h) and is very flexible thanks to the flex notch. With its shorter shaft, this model is also popular among dancers. Half sizes, 5 widths and heat molding allow a perfect fit!
Made from Strongest materials from Europe. WIFA boots have been handmade in Europe since 1960. WIFA uses only the strongest cowhides from Europe for all models, tanned according to the strict environmental regulations of the EU. All WIFA skates are padded and made of firm and thick leather (2.2-2.4 mm). A thin layer of thermoplastic reinforcement allows each WIFA ice skating boot to be heat-molded.
Long life as a tribute to sustainability. The WIFA ice skating boots are made of about 80% natural materials, ensuring an excellent foot climate. The thin reinforcement layers inside the boots are needed to provide stability but also to allow the heat molding process to work properly. The boots are literally reshaped on the foot. After cooling down, the boots fit like a second skin. This effect persists thanks to these layers.
Available in Various Sizes and Widths. Available for a lot of sizes. EU 36 (US 5.25) up to EU 47 (US 13.75). Foot width also include the following sizes: M, L, LL, C, CC. Please refer to the Sizing charts for more information.

Important Care Instructions
Like all quality products, WIFA boots deserve the best possible care and even children can be taught to look after their own boots. All feet sweat during training - some more than others, and even though the boots are made of breathable leather, they can get very damp inside.
After training the boots should be carefully dried inside and outside. They should not be left in a plastic bag longer than necessary. Skating bags should only be used for carrying boots from the rink to home. Skating boots should never be put on top of, or near to a radiator, but left in a well ventilated place. If the boots are very damp, they can be stuffed with newspaper to absorb the damp.
Do not use an abrasive cleaner instead gently wipe off any dirt with a soft damp sponge. Its important to check that the screws on the blades are still tight, as otherwise moisture can penetrate the leather and cause damage. The soles have been waxed but in time rubbed places should be waxed again to prevent damp seeping in. Do not use varnish - this could trap the damp inside and cause mildew. Moisture can penetrate and cause damage.
Breaking in the Boots
Allow your new boots time to break in and conform to your feet.
Do not attempt to do all the jumps, spins and deep knee bends until your boots are ready. Undue pressure on the leather can cause your boots to break down prematurely.
Unfortunately, there are times especially if there has been a boot change before a Championship when there is no time to break the boot in carefully. Forward planning therefore is recommended.

Cambered Jibbing
The Spectrum is Slash's park board for those who prefer the feel of camber. Positive camber combined with the Carbonbon layup of carbon fibre stringers underfoot delivers revved-up ollies and extra control, but Slash has dialled the spectrum in at 6 out of 10 on the stiffness scale, meaning it’s a jibber’s best friend, allowing flexed presses with a playful nature. Also loaded with a jibber’s other best friend, the Rubber Dampeners will help absorb impacts and help protect the sidewalls.
CAMBER PROFILE, CARBONBON REINFORCEMENT: A tried and true camber profile that offers a precise feel, predictable turns, solid edge hold, suspension and powerful pop. Traditional camber distributes weight evenly and offers a progressive flex pattern. Two carbon fiber stringers stretching outward from the inserts to the contact points in both the tip and the tail. Like prongs sticking outward these additives feel out rough terrain, promote pop, generate stronger edge hold and create a more playful ride.
BI-AX FIBERGLASS, POP WOODCORE, EXTRUDED BASE 4800: Biax fiberglass is a two-way weave of fiberglass with strands running every 90-degrees. It’s more forgiving, easier to flex and highly versatile for all terrain types. Arranged with premium strips of poplar for a lightweight and smooth flex with added beech hardwood stringers tip to tail through the inserts for power transfer and durability. Extruded low-density running base material accepts wax well and absorbs blunt shocks extra.
BELT FINISH, PROGRESSIVE SIDECUT, FACTORY WAXING: The belt finish gets your base optimized before it’s fully waxed. The progressive sidecut design blends many radii and smooth contact points for buttery smooth turn initiation, edge-to-edge transition and edge hold. It’s different for each model and matches the sidecut to the board’s specific camber profile. All Slash boards are factory waxed with OneBallJay wax and ready to shred straight out of the wrapper.

Steel Edges with 35% more steel content than the average. They are simply stronger and more durable than the alternative.

Tapered powder hound & piste punisher
The Vertical is a hard charger’s best friend on all-time big mountain lines while it’ll also lay out thick, juicy carves into corduroyed pistes too. Its 3D tip floats this nose through powder like the hull of a boat and there are our Float inserts to let you set back when it’s extra deep and the tapered tail punctuates this buoyancy aid.
CAMBER PROFILE, 3D Lift, TAPERED SHAPE: The camber profile offers a precise feel, predictable turns, solid edge hold, suspension and powerful pop. Traditional camber distributes weight evenly and offers a progressive flex pattern. 3D lift pulls the tip (and tail) of the board away from the snow and provides more butterability and extra float. The width of the nose is greater than the tail width. Tapered directional shape is usually designed to provide the best float in powder – promoting the tail to sink and the nose to rise.
BURIED TREASURE REINFORCEMENT, STEEL EDGES: This is Slash's ultimate truss of carbon, Kevlar and basalt fibers. The effect is lightness because the connecting strength of fiber allows us to slim the core’s thickness. With the strategic placement this gives certain liveliness to the board by adding response to the tips and leaving torsional softness between the feet. An extra set of inserts set way back for those super deep days. Steel edges with 35% more steel content than the average, are simply stronger and more durable than the alternative.
TRI-AX FIBERGLASS, POP WOODCORE w/ Tip Protectors: Triax fiberglass is the time-tested classic. It features a three-way weave of premium fibers with strands running at 45-degree angles. It provides superior pop, consistent torsional flex, and more overall response. Arranged with premium strips of poplar for a lightweight and smooth flex with added beech hardwood stringers tip to tail through the inserts for power transfer and durability. Thin, light and surprisingly strong aluminum protectors that cap the base and edge at the tip and tail to protect the board from impacts.
SINTERED BASE 7200, DIAMOND STONE FINISH, FACTORY WAXING: The Sintered quality base is fast, durable and requires less waxing. Slash added a slight diamond-structured stone grind to the base to maximize glide and optimize durability. It eliminates the slow, suction cup feel that comes with one-dimensional base finishes. All Slash boards are factory waxed with OneBallJay wax and ready to shred straight out of the wrapper. Identity shape saves material and weight and also stands up without tipping over like rounded boards do.
PROGRESSIVE SIDECUT, ULTIMATE TRACTION: The progressive sidecut design blends many radii and smooth contact points for buttery smooth turn initiation, edge-to-edge transition and edge hold. It’s different for each model and matches the sidecut to the board’s specific camber profile. This small counter radius (bump) placed in the middle of the board’s sidecut improves edge hold without creating drag or strange edge grip. It adds extra bite on ice and turns regular turns into confident carves.
